10 IKEA HINTS & TIPS

This List is designed for Ikea Shoppers in the UK and Ireland.
1 - Try not to go at weekends !
    Saturday and Sunday can be HELL at any IKEA
    Thats mostly because of the people who womble about windowshopping with a host of kids. (I know you cant leave them at home .. but please try to keep them under a bit of control !)

2 - Get a Catalogue and make a LIST of what you want to buy !

    That way when you cannot find it you can at least know the name of the thing to ask Ikea staff   for the Snortblast 205 or whatever it is you want.
    Ikea staff LOVE people with lists.

3 - Go to the AS-IS section FIRST otherwise youwill miss the Bargains. These sell out early in the day.

4 - Get a shopping trolley - you KNOW you will buy more than you meant to.

5 - Take a notepad and pen to steal IKEA layouts & ideas

6 - Empty the Boot/Trunk of your car BEFORE you leave Home

7 - Measure up for anything you want to buy to make sure there is space to put it

8 - Take a Tape Measure with you to make sure it will fit.

9 -  Monday Morning is the BEST time to go shopping at any IKEA

10 - Dont forget to stock up on Meatballs etc as you leave - so you'll need a CARRIER BAG to put them in !
 
 and grab a catalogue for a friend ...saves them borrowing yours !
